"Renting a house" brings good results to Flamengo
The red-black team's performance at Engenhão is impressive: eight wins, three draws and only one defeat in 12 games.

Since playing its first game at the Engenhão stadium on February 2, 2008, when it thrashed América 4-0 in the Campeonato Carioca, Flamengo has played 11 more matches there and boasts an enviable record. In 12 matches, they have won eight, drawn three, and lost only one. Therefore, the João Havelange Olympic Stadium is considered a key ally for Flamengo in its fight to continue climbing the Brasileirão table.
This Saturday, Flamengo faced Internacional, from Porto Alegre, for the first time at the stadium, and did well. In the next two rounds, the red-and-blacks will play again at Engenhão – against Vasco and Corinthians. And playing at home, the team from Gávea doesn't want to drop any more points.
"Now it's time to maintain it. We know this streak is very important, but every game until the end of the championship will be decisive for us, especially at home, and we need to get as many points as possible," said Correa.
The house may even be "rented", as Vanderlei Luxemburgo said in a press conference after training last Friday, but there is no doubt that Flamengo feels very comfortable playing at the stadium.
"This kind of number is good, because it gives us confidence. Flamengo is a difficult team to beat at home, always has been, and we have to always make the most of that," he added.
