Technical committee gathers athletes and talks about methods, philosophies and work concepts
By Marcelo Flaeschen - inAfter the physical and technical exams and training throughout the day, the coaching staff gave a talk to the athletes in the auditorium of the George Helal Training Center, right after dinner, this Thursday (January 12.01). The meeting served to share information about the training schedule and, most importantly, reinforce the importance, philosophy and working methods of the Center of Excellence in Performance (CEP FLA).
Executive director Rodrigo Caetano opened the session by reviewing the past season and highlighting the board's efforts to provide the best possible structure for football. The presentation was then led by football manager Mozer, head of the medical department Márcio Tannure, physical trainer Daniel Gonçalves, psychology coordinator Fernando Gonçalves, and coach Zé Ricardo.
"The main message we want to convey is that everyone in their area will work to improve each of you. Each one will improve the other. I'm very proud to be experiencing this moment for Flamengo, but after seeing the results achieved, it will be even better. We strive to improve training so that you can reach an optimal level," the coach emphasized.
"Last year, we achieved important numbers. We were the team that traveled the most in Brazil and had the fewest injuries. So you already know our work, and we want to improve it even further," said Dr. Tannure.
