After training this morning at the George Helal Training Center, goalkeeper Cesar spoke to the press. The young goalkeeper has been with the team since the match against Atlético-MG, replacing Paulo Victor, who suffered a fractured fibula while training with the team on June 16th.

"I have a lot of respect for Paulo Victor and I'm glad he's recovering. Playing is great, helping the team, of course, but the important thing is for Flamengo to win," said Cesar. Coming off two clean sheets against Náutico and Grêmio, the goalkeeper wants to return with the three points from Serra Dourada. "We'll respect Goiás, but we want to play well and win," he concluded.

Flamengo heads to Goiânia, where they'll take to the field at 16 p.m. this Sunday (July 26.07). The match will be part of the 15th round of the Brazilian Championship. Flamengo is counting on you for all the season's games: become a fan member.
