Head of Football Medical Department participates in CBF symposium.
Dr. Marcio Tannure will coordinate the roundtable discussion on new technologies that improve the performance of soccer players.

One of the professionals leading the Flamengo Performance Excellence Center (CEP FLA), the Head of the Football Medical Department, Dr. Marcio Tannure, was invited by the National Commission of Football Doctors to participate in the II Continuing Education Symposium of the CNMF - CBF.
The event will be held at the CBF headquarters in Rio de Janeiro, from April 28 to 30, and will feature the Flamengo doctor coordinating the round table which will have as its theme "New technologies can improve the performance of football players". The debate will be this Friday (29), from 13 pm to 13:30 pm.
Among the participants, who will be coordinated by Dr. Tannure, are Ana Carolina Corte, Post-Doctoral Researcher at USP, with the topic Thermography; Guilherme Passos, physiologist at CBF in Granja Comary, with the topic Catapult; and Moacyr Silva Neto, from the FIFA Center of Excellence, with the topic Cognitive Assessment.

On April 29th and 30th, as part of the Brazilian Football Evolution Week program, the II Continuing Education Symposium of the National Commission of Football Doctors (CNMF) will take place, an event promoted with resources from the 2014 FIFA World Cup Legacy Fund.
The meeting will be divided into seven modules, with lectures, roundtables, and debates aimed at developing Brazilian football medicine. The symposium will bring together doctors from clubs in the Brazilian Championship Series A, B, and C, as well as from women's football. This year's central theme will be "Performance and Recovery of Football Players: a multidisciplinary approach".
