After another morning of training in Mangaratiba, Flamengo introduced two reinforcements to the sidelines. Rodinei and Chiquinho were officially announced at a press conference.

"I fought hard to be at a club like this, one of the biggest in Brazil. Today I'm at Mengão and I really want to contribute, respecting all my teammates. I thank everyone who worked hard for my signing, especially Rodrigo Caetano," said Rodinei. The 23-year-old right-back arrives at Mais Querido after standing out in the Brasileirão in 2015, when he played for Ponte Preta.

Chiquinho, who recently played for Fluminense, Santos, and Corinthians, also recognized the opportunity to play for Flamengo. "It's a gift to be at Flamengo. I'll train hard to contribute and, of course, seek my place. My goal is always to lead Flamengo to victories, and if I can, with goals," he declared.
