After another positive result achieved last Wednesday (01), the red-black squad resumed work at CT George Helal aiming at the next challenge for the Campeonato Carioca, against the Nova Iguaçu team. The athletes who started the match against Macaé did recovery training at Flamengo's Performance Excellence Center (CEP FLA), while the others went to the pitch, where the ball training took place.

On Field 4, Zé Ricardo led a finishing drill involving passing, both centrally and laterally. The session was interrupted by torrential rain at Ninho do Urubu. To protect the players' safety due to the high number of lightning strikes, the session concluded with physical exercises performed at CEP FLA.

This Friday (03) will be the last training session of Mais Querido before facing Nova Iguaçu. The match will be played next Saturday (04), at the Moça Bonita Stadium, in Bangu-RJ, with the ball rolling from 17:00h.
