Flamengo's city and fans impress the players
David praises Londrina and the presence of the red-blacks to support the team at the preseason venue

With each passing day, Flamengo's players and coaching staff are becoming more convinced that choosing Londrina to host the Flamengo preseason was a perfect choice. A peaceful place with a pleasant climate and top-notch facilities at the hotel and training center where the delegation is staying, the city in Paraná has won the hearts of Flamengo fans.

Defender David is one of them. This isn't the defender's first time in the city. When he was a Palmeiras player, he had already been to Londrina. Eight years have passed, and now back there, he sees an evolution of something that was already good and praises the choice made by the coaching staff and board.

"I had already been to Londrina in 2002, when I was still playing for Palmeiras. I found the city very interesting, very clean, and it has evolved even more since then. Not to mention this training center, the hotel where we are staying, which are great and are being fundamental to our preparation in this pre-season," he observed.

Something that also pleased the players was the number of Flamengo fans in Londrina. Upon the group's arrival in the city, around 200 fans met the entire delegation at the airport, in the early hours of Monday to Tuesday. At the hotel door, every day, there were requests for photos, autographs...

"The presence of Flamengo fans is impressive. First, it was at the airport, almost 200 people showed up to support us, then at the hotel, every day there are fans there asking for autographs, taking photos... That's really cool," commented David.
\ Flamengo began its pre-season in Londrina last Tuesday \ (04.01) and will remain in the city of Paraná until Monday, the 17th. \ Rubro-negro will debut in the Campeonato Carioca against Volta Redonda, \ Wednesday, the 19th, at Engenhão.
