Clube de Regatas do Flamengo reports that the surgery performed on midfielder Erick Pulgar, this Thursday (3), in Chile, was completed as planned and without complications. The procedure aims to correct an injury to the fifth metatarsal of the right foot, suffered in the match against Bayern Munich. 

Flamengo's doctor, Dr. Fernando Sassaki, kept in contact with the person responsible for the operation, Dr. Cristian Ortiz, and had access to the post-operative x-ray, which confirmed the success of the intervention.

Erick will remain on scheduled rest in Chile for the next few days for post-operative monitoring. He will then return to Rio de Janeiro to continue his recovery process under the supervision of the club's Medical Department.
