With a cartilage injury in his right knee, left-back Juan underwent surgery this Saturday at the Pasteur hospital in Méier, and is doing well. The surgery was successful and the expectation is that the player will begin the physiotherapy process this Monday at Flamengo.

"Everything went as planned. The expectation is that he will begin physiotherapy on Monday. It's still too early to say when he will train with the ball. We'll take it one step at a time," said Flamengo's doctor, José Luiz Runco.
