Flamengo and Vasco are among the biggest rivals in the entire country, and a duel between the red-blacks and the Cruzmaltinos is always unique. That's why David and Diego Maurício can't wait to take the field next Sunday. After all, they'll be making their debut in the derby.
Young Diego Maurício is used to facing his rival in the youth team, he was even included in the squad for the first round of the Brasileirão, but he has never taken the field in a duel with his rival for the professional team.

I'm very happy to be available for Luxemburgo again at this time. If I get the opportunity, I'll try to play with determination and fight for victory until the last minute. That's the attitude everyone wants to see from our team on the field, especially against our biggest rival," he concluded.
