Executive director of football, Zico, and Clube de Regatas do Flamengo received two distinguished visitors this Monday (September 05.09th). Former striker Claudio Adão and former beach soccer player Junior Negão watched the training session and chatted with their former teammate, both on the field and on the sand, during the activity led by coach Silas in Gávea. The three played together on the Brazilian Beach Soccer Team. Claudio Adão went even further: he played alongside Galinho, also wearing a Flamengo jersey.

Júnior Negão, 312 games after his debut for the Brazilian national beach soccer team, said goodbye to the team in 2008 and was the only player to play in all 313 of the team's matches and also to win all three world titles.

With 82 goals in 154 games, playing from 1977 to 1980, and then again in 1983, Adão is one of the greatest strikers in the history of football, not only for Flamengo, but also in Brazil. An excellent finisher, the player had bad luck during his time at Gávea, suffering numerous injuries. However, he still helped the Red-Blacks, alongside Zico, win the 1979 Rio de Janeiro championship, finishing as the competition's top scorer both in the same year and the previous year.
