Starting his career as a Flamengo player in a derby against Vasco da Gama is the dream of Argentine midfielder Hugo Colace. Even though he's a foreign player, he stated this Thursday at Gávea that he understands the historic importance of Sunday's match and, therefore, wants to be fit and able to be used by coach Joel Santana.

"It would really be a great debut. I just need to get one document to complete my transfer. I hope I can be registered in time. Since I was little, I've heard about the rivalry between Vasco and Flamengo, and the derby is often shown on TV in Argentina. I'm already selected for the training camp."

Colace also stated that he knows midfielder Dario Conca, his compatriot and one of Vasco's key players. And he gave the recipe for neutralizing him: "I played with him on the U-20 team in a tournament in South Korea. We were champions together. The key to marking him well is to avoid giving him space."
