The eternal King of Flamengo gave his blessing to the Empire of Love. In an interview with SporTV's "Tá Na Área" program on Tuesday night, Arthur Antunes Coimbra, known as Zico, the greatest idol in the history of Clube de Regatas do Flamengo, heaped praise on Flamengo's coach, Andrade, with whom he played both on and off the field, and approved of the Gávea club's new attacking duo of Adriano and Vagner Love.

Considered Brazil's best attack and nicknamed the Empire of Love, the duo has everything it takes to succeed, in Zico's opinion. According to him, Adriano and Love have complementary characteristics, and, in good form, they will give their opponents a lot of headaches. Zico also emphasizes the importance of players' dedication. For the former player, there's no point in having quality without desire.

"They are two players who complement each other. Adriano is more of a point guard, almost impossible to stop, and Love, besides doing that job very well, also plays well on the wings. They are two technical players with great quality. They have everything to succeed. But they have to be in good physical shape and give their all. Both will be heavily targeted on the field, well-marked, and will have to overcome each other, but they can be very successful," he analyzed.

For Zico, the duo will also have a crucial off-field factor. And he'll be sitting on the bench: coach Andrade. It was at CFZ, the Galinho club, that the coach of Flamengo's sixth Brazilian championship in 2009 began his coaching career, still in the youth ranks. Zico is betting on an even brighter future for "Tromba" at the helm of the red-and-black team.
