On the morning of this Saturday (01), the red-black preparation for the next challenge in the Brazilian Championship, against São Paulo, was concluded. In tactical training at Field 5 of Ninho do Urubu, coach Zé Ricardo outlined the team that will take to the field, in addition to analyzing the virtues of the opposing team with the athletes, defining the game plan for the confrontation.

With the participation of defender Juan, who left the field after experiencing discomfort in the anterior muscle of his left thigh, the group performed pre-training activities at Flamengo's Performance Excellence Center (CEP FLA). Afterward, the number 4 continued his muscle-strengthening work, seeking optimal conditioning for his return to action for the Mais Querido.

Before the players took the field, EXOS consultant Michael Minthorne, physiologist Felipe Olive, and physiotherapist Mario Peixoto coordinated the FMS test, which assesses functional movements. Upon arrival, physical trainers Marcelo Martorelli and Daniel Gonçalves led the squad through warm-up exercises.

Next, tactical training began, focusing on this Sunday's match (02). In addition to simulating game situations, set pieces were also worked on, both offensively and defensively. Finally, part of the squad remained on the pitch to practice direct free kicks at goal.

The red-and-black delegation will remain concentrated at Ninho do Urubu before the match against São Paulo. The match will begin at 16 p.m. on Ilha do Urubu.
