Cristóvão Borges leads various activities at the Training Center on Thursday afternoon
By Communication - Official Club Website - inFlamengo's professional football squad held its final training session on Thursday afternoon (June 11.06) before facing Coritiba. Once again, the team participated in a variety of activities, including ball handling, technical training - both collective and individual - and finishing, at the George Helal Training Center.
Coach Cristóvão Borges began the activities with a warm-up where the athletes, divided into squares, passed the ball quickly. While the goalkeepers worked separately with Wagner Miranda, the other players went on to practice passing and movement. Next, there was attack-versus-defense work on one half of the pitch. The coach then conducted individual work: while the squad performed this activity, Cristóvão chose Paulinho and Cirino to train against Samir and Wallace on the other half of the pitch. Afterward, the entire squad practiced finishing. Midfielder Lucas Mugni, who is recovering from mumps, worked separately with physical trainer Marcelo Martorelli.
After training, Flamengo's football department announced two signings for the rest of the season: Alan Patrick and Ayrton signed with the Mais Querido.
