The time is coming, Nation! After training this Thursday (2), at Ninho do Urubu, Mengão continued their journey to Morocco for the Club World Cup, which takes place between February 1st and 11th. Flamengo's debut in the competition will be next Tuesday (7), against the winner of Al Hilal x Wydad Casablanca, at 16 pm (Brasília time), in the city of Tangier.
The bus carrying the red-and-black delegation left the George Helal Training Center around 19:15 p.m., heading to Galeão Airport on Governador Island. It's worth noting that the Red-and-Black Nation was present throughout the entire journey and performed the traditional AeroFla, imparting positive energy to the squad as they seek their second World Cup.
In the afternoon, the team held its final training session on Rio de Janeiro soil. The players who started the match against Boavista did regenerative training, while the others trained tactically with Coach Vitor Pereira.
And stay tuned, Nation! FlaTV will have daily bulletins about Mengão in Morocco, with all the information about the team's preparations for their World Cup debut.
