The campaign to achieve the biggest goal of the year for Mais Querido will begin this Wednesday (28), against River Plate, from Argentina. Aiming at the confrontation, which will have the ball rolling from 21:45 pm at the Nilton Santos stadium, the preparation continued with tactical training held on the morning of this Monday (26) at Ninho do Urubu.
Split between activities at Flamengo's Performance Excellence Center (CEP FLA) and on the field, the players who played in the last match participated in recovery training. Simultaneously, other members of the squad participated in tactical training led by coach Paulo César Carpegiani.
During the training session, the opponent's strengths and areas to exploit in the match were analyzed, as well as adjustments to the team's positioning. The coach also provided guidance focused on the team's offensive movement and defensive organization.
Activities will continue on Tuesday afternoon (27). After training, the red-black squad will remain concentrated in the professional module of CT George Helal.
