With a focus on the Copa do Brasil, Flamengo returns to face Bahia
The starters in the victory over RB Bragantino did some recovery work in the gym, while the others went onto the field to work on their tactics.
By Romulo Paranhos - inAfter the victory over RB Bragantino, Flamengo returned this Monday (26), at Ninho do Urubu, and began preparations for the first leg of the Copa do Brasil quarterfinals against Bahia. The clash between the Rio de Janeiro and Bahia teams will be played next Wednesday (28), at 21:30 pm, at Arena Fonte Nova.
The players who started last Sunday's match did some recovery in the gym, while the others went to the field to work on tactics. Coach Tite, who had been resting on medical advice, returned to training and led the training session. Athletes Gabi and Pedro have already begun the transition to the field.
Earlier this afternoon, Flamengo announced on social media the signing of left-back Alex Sandro, a multiple champion with various clubs. He signed with the club until December 31, 2026.
