David Luiz participates in “Game Review”, on FlaTV
One of the highlights of the 3-0 victory over Millonarios, last Tuesday (28), in the Libertadores, defender David Luiz participated in the “Resenha do Jogo”, on FlaTV, and spoke about his performance in the match that guaranteed Mengão’s qualification for the round of XNUMX of the continental competition:
"I don't like to talk about myself (laughs). Often, the result erases some of your performances. I was self-critical in the games I played, especially in the Libertadores group stage, and it was erased by the draw with Millonarios and the loss to Bolívar. But I knew that by working day to day and building what I needed to build in the group's daily routine to be ready when I was called upon, it would happen naturally," said the defender, who also projected the Libertadores knockout stage.
"It will undoubtedly be a crucial moment in the season; it's a title we deeply desire to win again. It won't be easy, even if we had qualified first and decided it at home. It will never be easy. We have to prepare to face any type of opponent. We'll have a game at Maracanã. The Maracanã game isn't canceled, and we have to be strong playing away from home."
