Flamengo took to the field this Wednesday needing a win to bounce back in the standings. And they got it. With a goal from Emerson, the "Mais Querido" beat Joinville 1-0 away from home and earned three more points. Now, the Rubro-Negro is 14th in the standings with 10 points. The first half was a tight affair. Flamengo put intense pressure on Joinville's defense from the start. Cirino and Sheik constantly marked the Santa Catarina team's defenders, forcing them to resort to long balls. However, just three minutes in, Flamengo suffered an injury. Samir felt injured and requested a substitution. Marcelo came on in his place. Flamengo had a great chance in the 19th minute. Canteros led a counterattack and found a beautiful pass to Gabriel. The number 17 passed to Cirino, who shot from the edge of the box, but Agenor saved. Flamengo dominated the space but managed few shots. In the 48th minute, there was one last chance: Cirino hit a rocket from outside the box, forcing Agenor to make a good save.

In the second half, Flamengo found what they needed. In the first six minutes, there were two significant threats to Joinville's goal. Within a minute, Jorge advanced well and shot from inside the box, but was blocked by the defense. A minute later, Cirino fought back, won the ball back in midfield, and delivered a beautiful pass to Emerson, who burst into the box and shot low into the corner, but the goalkeeper closed the angle and saved. Cirino tried to cross and Emerson shot from inside the box, but was blocked. The ball fell to Éverton, who switched play. Gabriel found the ball, cut past the defender, and crossed. Emerson, with the side of his foot, opened the scoring. Flamengo didn't give up and continued to exploit the spaces left by the Santa Catarina defense. The home team felt the blow and pressed forward. The Mais Querido defended well, leaving no room for the home team to score. Emerson showed his skill in the passing game, unleashing a flurry of dribbles. At the final whistle, the Rubro-Negro won, securing three more points.
