Voted "the fans' star," the Flamengo's number 30 appeared on FlaTV's "Resenha do Jogo" program, where he spoke about his performance in the match and previewed his new stint at Mais Querido. "The day before, we were training. David was practicing penalties, then he stopped shooting, and Wesley was about to start crossing. The guys were saying, 'Go rest.' I replied, 'Take it easy, the ball always goes to the little guy,' and I missed every single one in training.

"We have to congratulate the people who came to the stadium, because even in the rain, the fans showed up, sang, and cheered. Thank God they left happy with the victory, which was important for us. I missed being able to enjoy that moment."
