Defender Fabrício Bruno participated this Monday (23) in the program “Resenha do Craque”, on FlaTv, and talked a little about the victory and his good performance against Vasco last Sunday (22). The number 15 also projected the next confrontation against Grêmio, in Porto Alegre, for the 30th round of the Brazilian Championship. Check out some excerpts from the interview:
About the match
"It was a close, well-played, and contested classic, and in the end, we managed to come away with the victory. I was happy with the numbers, even happier with the performance I've been showing throughout the season, undoubtedly one of the most brilliant of my career. Perhaps at my peak, I'm happy and grateful for the opportunity and for my teammates and the coaching staff, who help me every day."
Tite's Instructions
"Defending the box is very important to him, especially because that's where the goals come from. So, he prioritizes that a lot. I'm happy with the games; both Léo Pereira and I have a principle of defending the box as much as possible."
Discussion with the opponent
"This is a game situation; a classic is always fierce. On the field, we can have our provocations, but the most important thing is this image at the end of the game, which reflects what football is all about. On the field, everyone defends their jersey, but off it, peace must prevail."
