With Maracanã packed, Flamengo welcomes Ceará for the Brasileirão
All tickets have been sold for the Nation; the match is very important in the fight for leadership

Currently, Rubro-Negro is in third place in the table with 41 points. Ceará is in 19th place with 17 points from 21 matches played so far.

Last Friday, number 10 Diego Ribas spoke to the press at a press conference held at Ninho do Urubu. The athlete, in addition to praising the support and importance of the nation, also spoke about the match against Ceará.

Flamengo x Ceara
In the first round, the teams faced each other at Castelão in the third round of the Brasileirão. With goals scored by Vinicius Junior (twice) and Diego, Flamengo won 3-0. The match also marked the first time Flamengo took the lead in the current edition of the competition.

In the history of the tournament, the teams have faced each other only twice at Maracanã: 2-2 in 1985, with goals from Tita and Bebeto, and 1-0 in 2010, with a goal from Petkovic.
