Flamengo fans will go at least two months without seeing their team play in the Copa Libertadores in Rio de Janeiro after this Wednesday at 19:30 p.m. at the Maracanã. After all, even if they eliminate Universidad de Chile and advance to the semifinals of the competition, the team would only return to the stadium for international competition after the World Cup in South Africa on July 24th. Therefore, in this farewell, which everyone hopes will be just a "see you soon," the nation will be in full force at the Maracanã.

More than 60 tickets were sold in just two days, and the Biggest Stadium in the World is expected to sell out for Wednesday's game. Fan support is one of coach Rogério Lourenço's main assets for the match.

"Everyone knows how powerful our 12th player is. A packed Maracanã always excites the athletes. I know that, and so does everyone here. Our part is to give it 100% so as not to disappoint the fans, who will be there in large numbers," he explained.

The eleven players who will take to the field as starters are Bruno, Leonardo Moura, David, Ronaldo Angelim and Juan; Maldonado, Rômulo, Willians and Kleberson; Vagner Love and Adriano, but the one who can also make a difference is the 12th member of this group: the Nação Rubro-Negra.

"The fans supporting us is a huge help. They play with us, they sing all the time, and they'll make the difference. We know we'll face a lot of pressure there, and here our fans will do their part, and it's up to us to give our all on the field to repay that with a good result," said defender David, whose speech was endorsed by Juan.
