The year wasn't so good for Flamengo and coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo. But 2010 is already a closed season. Now, it's time to think about 2011. That's how the Flamengo fans feel; focused on making next year better, with titles and positive results to reward the supporters.
Therefore, now is the time to start planning for 2011. According to Luxa, it's no longer the time to lament the past. Negative results should be left behind, focusing only on what better things may come soon.
"Now it's just a matter of focusing on work. I don't have much to say. There's no point in analyzing the past. Now it's time to start working, wait for the year to turn, and do better," he remarked.
The Flamengo coach doesn't deny that the year ended up being disappointing, but, according to him, the time has come to leave all that behind, internally evaluate what can be changed and what can be improved to have a successful season.
"There's no hiding the fact that the year wasn't good for me and for Flamengo, but everything will be done to make 2011 better. Internal evaluations will be conducted to ensure next year is a success," he concluded.
