On the morning of this Friday (01), the red-black squad met at the George Helal Training Center to continue preparing for the team's next commitment. Coach Zé Ricardo led a technical activity with the athletes on Field 2, with the participation of captain Juan throughout the training session.
The day began with muscle activation work led by professionals from Flamengo's Center of Excellence in Performance (CEP FLA). Meanwhile, guided by goalkeeper coach Vitor Hugo, the goalkeepers were already training on the field—Mengão's Facebook page broadcasted the video live.
Next, the entire group went to Field 2 to begin the activity. Zé Ricardo led a technical training session with part of the squad. The work consisted of passing and movement drills. The coach urged intensity from the players, both those in possession and those trying to win it back. The players then practiced building plays along the flanks, with triangulations involving defenders, full-backs, defensive midfielders, and wingers.
Tomorrow will be the last activity before Sunday's match (03), against Corinthians. Mais Querido will face the São Paulo team at Arena Corinthians, with the ball rolling from 16 pm.
