Due to personal problems, Bruno will not go to Itu

Flamengo will be without a player for the preseason training camp in Itu, in the interior of São Paulo, starting this Tuesday (29.06). After speaking with goalkeeper Bruno, who is experiencing personal issues, the club's board decided to remove the player from the rest of the squad until further notice. To announce the decision on Monday (28.06), president Patricia Amorim came to the Football Department's press room to speak to the journalists present.
Serena, the director explained that Flamengo has nothing to do with the player's personal life, but as this could disrupt the environment of the rest of the squad, it was decided that Bruno would work separately.
"Flamengo deeply regrets what happened. I am handing over to the club's Legal Department the responsibility to establish the rules to be adopted from now on regarding this matter. What I can say is that Bruno will be separated from the rest of the group, who will go to Itu. He will remain available for any call from the authorities and will work at Ninho do Urubu," Patricia explained, handing over to Flamengo's vice president of legal affairs, Rafael de Piro, who explained the measure adopted.
"It was a joint decision. Bruno participated in it. It's not a punishment. We understand that he's about to be called to provide clarification to the Minas Gerais police, and so he'll stay in Rio, training alone."
Rafael de Piro also revealed to the journalists present that Flamengo will not defend Bruno if any lawsuit is filed against the player. The responsibility lies with the athlete's private attorney.
"Flamengo will not make its Legal Department available. We understand that this is a private matter, and the player will need to consult his lawyer. Bruno's lawyer will also be responsible for any details about the case," he said, echoing Bruno's impression.
"He told us he had nothing to do with everything that was being said and promised to do his best to prove his innocence. We felt he was shaken, but he was willing to clarify everything. Therefore, Bruno has no date for being reinstated to Flamengo's professional squad," he concluded.
