Fans can buy their tickets online until 12pm this Thursday (September 10.09th), through Maracanã website - and club members, with up to 50% discount, through website of the Red-Black NationHalf-price tickets are available for students, those under 21, and seniors (over 60), and free tickets (for children under 12 and people with disabilities) will be distributed starting when the gates open at 19 PM. From this game onwards, those opting for half-price tickets must present documents proving their eligibility for the discount upon entering the stadium. Fans who fail to present these documents may be denied entry.

After Flamengo's victory over Fluminense last Sunday (September 06.09th) at the Maracanã, The Flamengo squad returned to training on Tuesday (September 08.09th).at the George Helal Training Center. The athletes who did not play participated in a training match against Portuguesa, at the same training center, and lost 1-0. Those who played in the derby did physical work in the gym.

Coach Oswaldo de Oliveira spoke to the press after Tuesday's training session. The Flamengo manager stated that he believes the good form of both Flamengo and Cruzeiro adds value to the match and he is confident in the squad's quality to overcome absences due to injury, suspension, or international call-ups.

"The good form of both Flamengo and Cruzeiro will be an extra ingredient for the game. We hope the support of the fans will help our team achieve a good result and that we don't feel the absences we'll have too much. Our squad is talented, so we have to keep our feet on the ground and continue working," said the coach.

On Wednesday (September 09.09th), Oswaldo led a tactical training session at the training center.
