With starters, Fla holds technical training in Gávea

Silas leads the activity on a reduced field and even players who faced Santos worked on Monday

The new coach of the red-and-black team, Silas, had already said that the best way to recover the points lost so far in the Brazilian Championship is through hard work. And the main proof of this was Monday's training session (September 06.09th) at Gávea. The players returned to their squads and even the starters for the match against Santos on Sunday (September 05.09th) participated in the training session.

Typically, players who start matches only do recovery exercises the following day. But that wasn't the case Monday afternoon. Only Willians, with pain in his right thigh, and Toró participated in physical therapy and pool activities.

The athletes completed physical training, and then the squad was divided into four teams. They worked on a reduced-size field. Two teams faced off on one half of the pitch, and the other two on the other. The goalkeepers also trained hard under the supervision of coach Cantareli. Afterwards, some players also practiced finishing.
