On a day of new developments at Ninho do Urubu, with the presentation of striker Geuvânio, Flamengo finalized their preparations to face Chapecoense in the 9th round of the Brazilian Championship. After specific muscle activation exercises, the group was directed to Field 4, where stretching and warm-up exercises took place.

Following that, in a tactical exercise held on Field 4, Zé Ricardo outlined the team that will take the field in the match and instructed the players regarding the opponent's style of play. Set pieces were also worked on during training, rehearsing offensive plays and making adjustments to defensive positioning.

Simultaneously, Geuvânio underwent physical assessments, both on the pitch of Field 3 and at Flamengo's Center of Excellence in Performance (CEP FLA), which aimed to measure the athlete's endurance levels.

This Thursday (22), on Ilha do Urubu, Mais Querido will face the Santa Catarina team, with the ball rolling from 21 pm.
