Back at Ninho do Urubu after the 2-2 draw against Vasco in a match played last Sunday (26), in Brasília, coach Zé Ricardo's team resumed activities aiming at the next commitment for the Taça Rio, against Volta Redonda. At Flamengo's Performance Excellence Center (CEP FLA), the athletes who started the last match did regenerative training.
Defender Réver, replaced by Léo Duarte during the match, underwent an imaging test at the CEP facility and, despite the pain that forced Zé Ricardo's substitution during the match, no injury was found in the hamstring muscle of his right thigh. Réver participated normally in the training session with the group.

On the field, the training session involving the other athletes consisted of attack versus defense work on a reduced-size field. The activity included players from the club's under-20 squad.

Also on Field 5 of the training center, Gabriel continued with physical conditioning exercises, coordinated by physical trainer Roberto Oliveira and EXOS consultant Michael Minthorne. After the activities concluded, Argentine midfielder Darío Conca did recreational ball work with the Ninho Boys, who remained on the field after training.

The Most Beloved begins preparation for the next challenge for the Rio Cup, against Volta Redonda. The match will be played this Wednesday (29), at the Raulino de Oliveira stadium, with the ball rolling from 21:45 pm.
