Midfielder Maldonado knows the match against Raposa won't be easy, but he emphasizes the importance of earning points. According to him, it's important to be attentive and, above all, keep your head on straight.
"Our concentration, balance on the field, and composure will be crucial. It will be a difficult game, very difficult for us. We need to get points in this game. We have to be careful to win the game. After what we've been through this year, keeping our heads in the game and getting points is essential," said the midfielder, who believes a win can put these poor results behind us.
"Everything is important in this game, because we know we need the points. If we get a good result in these games, we'll feel calmer and relieved. We'll be able to erase all the bad things we've been through," he noted.
An initiative by the technical committee praised by the Chilean was the early trip to Volta Redonda.
"Playing again in Volta Redonda will be important. That's why we brought the trip forward to improve our preparation and focus as much as possible. Anything goes at this point," he concluded.
