Council approves Batavo as Flamengo's new sponsor
Football sponsorship contract is for one year

In an extraordinary meeting held on Tuesday night, in the Noble Hall of the social headquarters, in Gávea, Flamengo's Deliberative Council approved the club's new sponsorship contract.
The contract will be signed with Brasil Foods S/A. The company will apply the Batavo brand, a dairy company, to the front and back of the home and training uniforms of the professional and youth soccer teams. The investment is R$22 million for a one-year contract and could reach a total of R$25 million in activation activities.
The Batavo brand will debut on the shirt in this Wednesday's game, at 19:30 pm, when Flamengo hosts Americano de Campos at Maracanã
The official sponsorship announcement will take place this Wednesday, January 27th, at noon, in the Rogério Steinberg Auditorium at the club's headquarters in Gávea, during a press conference. President Patricia Amorim, Vice President of Marketing Henrique Brandão, and members of the Brasil Foods board of directors are confirmed to attend.
