"This classic will be remembered and will go down in history. We managed to turn around a game that seemed lost. But Flamengo always has to expect something. This team was made for big games." Vagner Love was one of them. According to the number nine, the locker room conversation with Andrade was crucial to the comeback. The striker reveals that the team felt the sending off of defender Alvaro a bit, but they kept fighting, and that's why they ultimately got the result.

"I thought the changes were necessary. Flamengo needed to expose itself and take risks. The starting lineup didn't gel well, and the game took on a different tone with the changes. We had two distinct halves. We were devastating in the second half, even with a man down," he explained.

Andrade also reveals that he didn't fear the worst at halftime. The Flamengo manager stated that he didn't expect the equalizer to come so quickly, but also said that he didn't think the match was already decided, even with Fluminense leading 3-1 in the first 45 minutes.

"We always have to think positively. I didn't think we'd equalize so quickly, but I knew we could turn the situation around. There were two distinct halves, but Flamengo were truly devastating. They retreated when they needed to, and on the counterattack we managed to score," he added.

Flamengo leads Group A with 15 points, three ahead of Fluminense. To secure a spot in the Guanabara Cup semifinals, the team needs only a draw in its next two games.
