Copa do Brasil: Flamengo will face Botafogo at Maracanã

The second leg of the semi-final takes place on August 23rd

The second leg of the Copa do Brasil semifinal between Flamengo and Botafogo will take place at Maracanã on August 23rd at 21:45 pm. Flamengo returns to the stadium where they opened their campaign in the national competition against Atlético-GO in May.

The decision was made due to the enormous demand from the Red-Black Nation for the decisive match, as well as Flamengo's quest to provide its fans with cheaper tickets, as highlighted by the club's president, Eduardo Bandeira de Mello:

"Ilha do Urubu remains our home. But we're talking about a decisive derby with a huge fan base. We want to ensure the largest possible attendance of red-and-black fans, and at Maracanã, I'm sure we'll have the massive support of our fans. And that's always made the difference."
