Midfielder Correa is one of the players who could play in his first million-dollar derby on Sunday (August 01.08st) wearing a Flamengo jersey. And, despite his experience, the athlete doesn't hide his anticipation for this match. Despite his short time at the club, Correa already knows what Flamengo and Vasco represent and is banking on the work done this week to secure the three points in the derby.

"It's the kind of game everyone loves to play. We know what this match represents, expectations are high, and we have the whole week to work. We have to be well prepared to come away with the three points," he said.

The midfielder is also looking forward to playing at Maracanã, with the atmosphere surrounding Flamengo and Vasco. He believes it will be important to have the support of the fans on Sunday.

"We know it's going to be packed; the fans love this kind of game. Our fans are very important, they have a lot of strength, and we'll try to deliver on Sunday. We know the responsibility and the difficulty we'll face, but our goal is victory," he added.
