Correa praises Flamengo's atmosphere
Midfielder believes the mood in the group is even better after the classic, but warns: the team has to continue its good results

Happy with the reception from the group, the coaching staff, and the board, the player has nothing but praise for the atmosphere at Gávea. According to him, the group's unity, already strong when he arrived, became even stronger after the strong victory over Botafogo last Wednesday (July 14.07).
\Correa has even earned nicknames from his teammates. His physical resemblance to Brazilian national team coach Dunga is undeniable. Others say he reminds them of full-back Eltinho, now at Avaí.
"The atmosphere is great. It was already good before the game, and it's even better after the victory. This boosts our confidence and that of the fans. Everyone is happy; it was a great result, but it's over now. We have a tough game ahead of us, and we'll respect our opponent. Our goal is to win," he said.
The player emphasized the importance of a good result in the derby against Alvinegro, but assured that the team is focused on the rest of the Brasileirão. The red-and-blacks' goal is to reach the top four as quickly as possible.
"We got a great result against Botafogo, but we can't think that's enough. We're still outside the top four and we're going to try to win, continue on our journey and get into the top positions once and for all," said the midfielder, who is anxious to know if he will start against Atlético-GO next Sunday (4).
"I worked hard to be a starter. Every player wants to start, and it's no different for me. I always respect the coach's position, but I arrived doing my job and wanting to play. If everything goes well by Sunday, I'll make my debut and try to live up to expectations. But everyone is important and should feel that way. Each player has their share of responsibility, and when the coach needs them, they have to step in and show their skills," he concluded.
