For many workers, the first day at a new job is daunting. The fear of not fitting in and not building a good relationship with colleagues makes many people reluctant to take on new challenges. This isn't the case for midfielder Correa, recently signed by Flamengo. The player arrived at Gávea last week and is already feeling at home at the club.

"I was very well received here at Flamengo and I only have praise. The group is very good. Not only the players, but also the coaching staff and the environment. Therefore, it is favorable. I am happy to be here, defending Flamengo, and I intend to do my best to help the club in the objectives we have from now on," he revealed.

Correa already knows a good part of the red-and-black squad. Most of them have played against them during their time at Palmeiras and Atlético Mineiro, but others, like Michael and David, have played alongside them at the São Paulo club.

"I created these guys at Palmeiras (laughs), and it's good to have this long-standing relationship. Besides them, I know some players from having played against them, and that's really good. In football, there's always that chat between players from clubs, even rivals, and that makes it easier to fit into a new group," said the midfielder, who also explained that he should be fit to face Botafogo on Wednesday (14.07).

"It's very likely that on Monday or Tuesday a document will arrive that will allow me to play. I hope this is resolved so I can get on the field as soon as possible and do my part to try to win this classic," he revealed.
