Cosimo Cappagli arrives at Flamengo wanting to win as many titles as possible
Italian performance analyst has been part of Paulo Sousa's coaching staff since 2015

With the arrival of Mister Paulo Sousa at Flamengo, the coaching staff gained new members. One of them is Italian Cosimo Cappagli, who works as a performance analyst. In an interview with FlaTV, he spoke a little about his football career.
"I started working in football in 2010, with Fiorentina, my hometown team. In 2015, I started working more closely with the coaching staff and gained a lot of experience in China, then in Florence, Italy, Bordeaux, France, and finally with the Polish national team."
"My role combines the football aspect with the video aspect. I really enjoy new technologies and take advantage of them to improve our team's work. It's a job that requires a lot of patience, and I think that's a trait I possess."
"I met the coach at Fiorentina in 2015. At first, I wasn't working with the first team, but rather with video. But outside of the sports department, he needed someone else to help his assistant, Manuel Cordeiro. So I started helping with all the video analysis. It was incredible, because for the first time, I had the opportunity to be close to the first team, with a top-notch technical staff. That's why I always thank him for this opportunity, and ultimately, for letting me realize the biggest dream of my life."
"Flamengo is a top club in the world. The performance analysis department, where I work most closely, demonstrates this greatness, both in terms of structure and human resources. The main challenge is to continually improve on what was being done before, and above all, the most important thing is to set goals to always win and be able to win as many titles as possible."
