- "In a competition like the Libertadores, catimba is very common. We have to be careful not to fall into their trap. We'll talk during the week so we don't have any problems in Thursday's game."

For Cristian, the game is seen as a decision for the Flamengo squad.

- "We have high expectations of playing a good game. A win would put us in a very good position in the group. We have to play with a lot of determination to get a win in Uruguay."
