Cristóvão Borges is no longer the coach of Clube de Regatas do Flamengo. The decision was made by mutual agreement between the coach and the club's management, in a meeting on the morning of this Thursday (20.08).

 

Clube de Regatas do Flamengo regrets Cristóvão's departure, although it recognizes that the results were not what was expected, which cannot be attributed exclusively to him.

 

During his time at the helm of Flamengo, Cristóvão Borges always acted in line with the club's professional management philosophy, employing modern and up-to-date training practices, which remain as a legacy in the Football Department.
