The morning was spent training technically at the George Helal Training Center, this Friday (05.06). The athletes worked on touches, crossing and finishing to the duel against Chapecoense, on Saturday (06.06), at 18:30 pm. In the second stage, coach Cristóvão Borges worked on the defense, with the defenders cutting off the crosses.

Lucas Mugni participated in training with the rest of the squad, and the goalkeepers worked separately with coach Wagner Miranda. Soon after, the coach spoke to the press and called on the nation to support the team. "The athletes' dedication and commitment must be commended. No one is satisfied with the results. Our fans are the club's greatest asset, and we need their strength and support tomorrow. We know they will play alongside us at Maracanã," he stated.

Flamengo plays against Chapecoense with the support of the red-black fans at Maracanã. Fan members pay from R$12,50 (half-price with a 50% discount) Red-Black Nation program) to the North sector. The support from the fans was described as "preponderant to overcome" the negative phase, by President Eduardo Bandeira de Mello.
