On Tuesday morning (23.06), the red-black squad returned to training at the George Helal Training Center, with an eye on the next Brazilian Championship match, the Clássico dos Milhões. After physical work, the athletes practiced fundamentals and free kicks.
The activity began with a functional circuit on field 2. The goalkeepers stayed with Wagner Miranda, while the others moved to field 1 to practice touch, positioning, and movement. Then, divided into four teams—separated into two parts of the field—they practiced passing and marking. The exercise then transitioned to attack-defense training on one side and finishing on the other.
During the training session, Marcelo Cirino suffered a blow to his left thigh and Canteros to his left knee, but the injury was not serious, and the players continued training normally. Before the end of the session, Ayrton and Alan Patrick took free kicks.
The match against Vasco will be next Sunday (28.06), at 16:30 pm, at Arena Pantanal.
