It's important for everything. It puts us in a better position, gets us out of the relegation zone, it's unpleasant to see Flamengo in this position. We've been aiming for this for a few rounds, we didn't manage it, but with today's victory the team feels better, because it knows it won and played well, that's also very important. Now we just need to keep our heads in the right place and continue working.

Our current position demands a great deal of urgency in getting wins, and we haven't yet achieved consistency. It's difficult to work with more losses than wins because it puts us under pressure. The victory came, we got out of the relegation zone, and it gives us more peace of mind to work. The players are more confident, and with our heads in the right place, we're moving forward. We were stuck in the standings for many rounds, while our opponents moved up. This championship is about consistency; you have to accumulate points, and that's why this victory is so important. We gained some positions, and the team gains confidence to continue doing well.

I liked the changes. This is a search for balance. I think the team was efficient, played consciously, with great clarity and good movement, defended well, was good on the counter-attack, we had good connection between defense and attack, many good things. Logically, we still need to evolve a lot and we have the potential to do so. With victories, this happens more easily.

In the first half, much of it was a very tight, disjointed game, but we continued to mark firmly and managed to be superior, we managed to control the game, and this victory confirms the good performance the team had. The movements, the marking, the positioning... it was a victory where the team showed itself to be lucid.

Jorge is promising, a youth national team player. That moment, in a derby match, was difficult to introduce him. He has the ability, but if we can put him in at a better time, that's the best choice. I knew that after that game in Cuiabá it would be better. Today he played as he knows how, calmly, he had a great game. We are happy because it's very important for him to come in with personality and play as if he were in the national team or at Flamengo, with his teammates from the youth categories.
