"We're in a time of recovery. We're all upset about losing, and we don't like losing. Now, the team did well in the game. The fact that we conceded a goal early in the game and early in the second half... It made things more difficult. We had more difficulties. Then, Fluminense, with ten men down, started playing on our mistakes. They're a quality team, they have good transitions. We didn't know how to take advantage of the time to at least equalize. We struggled; the game had to be played at both ends of the field. It's a difficult time, and the pressure is immense; the most important thing is to get a win. It hasn't happened yet. We'll work hard, and it's time to withstand pressure, criticism, and questions. We're confident and know the team's potential. The commitment was sensational. But of course, the team could have made the most of the time they had with an extra man. It's difficult. We wanted to win today, but it didn't happen. It's the next match. We want to change that soon. We share the same sentiment as the fans. The fans want what we want: to play well, to win, and with the commitment they showed." "Cirino was coming back from an injury, and that's why he didn't start, as he was recovering and had only trained with the ball for three days. He and Everton, at a better pace, were returning. We talked and thought it best if he stayed for the second half. Regarding the next game, we lost some players, and others are going to the Copa América. We have to think a little. There are no complaints. We have to find a solution. We knew Fluminense would wait for us. But they scored a goal four minutes in, they played waiting, due to our mistake, and we gave them that opportunity a few times. You can't give them that kind of chance, and we did."
