Coach Cristóvão Borges participated in a press conference after the match between Flamengo and Vasco, this Wednesday (August 19). Flamengo lost the first leg of the Copa do Brasil round of 16 by 1-0, but will still play the second leg next Wednesday (August 26).

As is usually the case in these matches between Flamengo and Vasco, it was a very competitive, tightly contested game. My focus is on reviewing the things we didn't do well in today's game. The team had very good movement and good passing quality, but in today's game we had difficulties getting out of their marking and therefore had little possession, which is usually good. There were many misplaced passes, the team had difficulties. Of course, we will review this in the coming days and prepare for the game against São Paulo FC.

As we know, this is only the third game he's played for an extended period. He's coming off pre-season training and isn't yet in rhythm.
