It's been a huge success these last few games, and we had to win to calm down and breathe, because we deserve it. We needed it; we hadn't won the championship. This isn't a campaign for Flamengo; it'll give us more peace of mind. And all of this happened because we needed to respond. The team was working hard, and the fans came out and gave us strength. Congratulations not only to the players, but also to the fans for their support.

We arrived with a string of games and little time to do anything in terms of training, especially tactically. And this is the first week we'll be able to work a little. That's important, as is this first victory, because it's very difficult to work under pressure to achieve results, which creates a lot of anxiety. But within this situation, I think the players' performance was very good. For many, this game doesn't mean much, but in the Brazilian league, we see that it's not easy. So for us, a victory like this means a lot, especially because of the persistence in turning around a situation that wasn't good and was bothering us. Now, with us and the board working hard, with the possibility of a player arriving this week, and with all the players feeling more relaxed... We're going to achieve a lot in the championship.

Improvisations
Regarding the players, I liked it. We're trying to position the team as it plays best. And the information I learned from previous games led me to choose the team this way, even with improvising players and knowing it's not theirs. Luiz Antônio didn't play in his position, but he helped a lot.
