After the 2-1 victory over Internacional, at Beira Rio, on Wednesday night (08.07), the red-black coach Cristóvão Borges gave a press conference. The commander praised Guerrero's performance, decisive for the victory in his debut, commented on the team's lineup and expects another good performance against Corinthians on Sunday (12.07), at Maracanã.

Guerrero
He's a player who worries the opposition a lot. By nature, he's a powerful player up front, holding the ball up in attack. This is crucial; it allows the team to come out from behind and facilitates the approach of teammates.
Emotion in the goal
We're always emotional. We're working hard and playing these matches under pressure, with a lot of pressure. We deserved the win, and in the last game, we lost in a comeback at home. We knew we were on the right track. This was the team's third match playing at a good level. Everything in football needs a win and a positive result. Today's game was against a great opponent and made me and everyone else very happy.
Cáceres lineup
We didn't know if it would rain or not. I based my lineup on what we had learned during the week, on Inter's recent loss, and on the fact that the team that was supposed to start would have a lot of movement. That's what we trained and played with in mind. That's why Cáceres came in, so we could play tightly, with our lines close together.
Guerrero's lineup after a 'marathon' of events
He's a decisive player, accustomed to all kinds of football situations, and very experienced. Because of all this, he brings a certain calmness. He was in good shape, playing until a few days ago, and he trained with us. Even after two tiring days, he's a gifted athlete, and we know we can count on him. We needed someone with his skills.
Expectations for Sunday
