Cristóvão: "We will have a difficult game"

Flamengo's coach speaks about their next opponent, Goiás: "a well-organized team"

After training this Friday (July 24.07th) at the George Helal Training Center, Flamengo coach Cristóvão Borges gave a press conference. The coach commented on Flamengo's next opponent in the Brazilian Championship, Goiás.

The Flamengo team trains this Saturday morning (July 25.07th) and then travels to Goiânia, where they will play at the Serra Dourada stadium at 16 PM this Sunday. The Most Beloved in the World is counting on you for all the challenges of the season: become a fan member.

Check out the main topics from coach Cristóvão Borges' press conference:

Goiás
"This team has improved a lot since changing coaches, they are well-organized, and we will have a very difficult game. We needed to win, but the pressure remains because we need to go further. In the last two matches, with the change of coach, they were completely different. They didn't deserve to lose against Internacional; they had a better team. It will be difficult because Goiás has improved a lot in the last two games. But we worked well, and I think we will have a great game."

Sequence
The pressure continues. We need to go further in the championship and achieve a better position. Two wins give us more confidence, but we need consistent wins and we've had a long week to work. We are much more confident that it's possible to continue doing good things.

- It's normal for this to happen in the Brazilian league, which is quite competitive. It's happening very rarely with us. But either way, it's very bad. It's a shame it happened to Jonas, Armero, and Wallace felt something today. Let's see how he performs tomorrow to see how things stand.

Training
My concern is that the team be consistent, balanced, and efficient.
