Cuca leads tactical training in Gávea
Welinton, Erick Flores, and Emerson were given a chance in the starting lineup. Everton Silva, Ibson, Aírton, Zé Roberto, and Toró were rested.
By Flamengo Archive - inFlamengo's squad returned to training this Tuesday morning in Gávea. The red-and-black team is preparing for the Taça Rio final on Sunday against Botafogo at Maracanã. Flamengo needs to win the match to keep alive its dream of a fifth three-peat in the club's history.
In this morning's tactical training session, the new additions were the presence of Welinton, Erick Flores, and Emerson in the starting lineup. Coach Cuca fielded the main team: Bruno, Welinton, Ronaldo Angelim, and Fábio Luciano; Léo Moura, Willians, Kleberson, Erick Flores, and Juan; and Emerson and Josiel. The coach stopped training several times to correct positioning errors.
Everton Silva and Ibson, both with pain in their right ankles, underwent physical therapy at the club's gym. Everton Silva, Toró, and Zé Roberto only did weight training.
